Jacquelyn Santa Lucia
Senior Development Manager

Jackie is driven by her commitment to community-driven development, economic investments, and climate solutions in the built environment. Jackie centers our most under-invested communities, including BIPOC, system-impacted people, young people, and aging populations. Jackie values design excellence as a tool for equity.

Prior to Adre, Jackie co-founded and was the program director of Your Street Your Voice fostering community relationships across Oregon, and providing paid learning opportunities in design and construction to over 150 youth annually. The program was centered on BIPoC and LGBTQ+ youth learning about careers in the built environment through a lens of social justice.

Jackie was a project architect/project manager for Hacker Architect leading the design and construction of large public projects, museums and educational buildings, working with community partners, design, and construction consultants.

Prior to living in Oregon, Jackie was a project architect and project manager at Ewing Cole in Philadelphia and New York as part of the cultural studio, cultivating sustainable work with the Smithsonian Institute, including Cooper Hewitt, National Museum of Natural History, National Museum of Native American, and National Museum of American History.

Jackie’s work included civic projects, education institutions, museums, market-rate commercial and residential projects and buildings for non-profit organizations.

For over 10 years, Jackie has been an educator, collaborating with high school aged youth and university students across the country, leading design and building programming. She has been an architectural critic at University of Oregon, Portland State University, Philadelphia University, Drexel University, University of Pennsylvania and Syracuse University.
